Moving your hand from chord to chord is the best way to practice on guitar power chords. Start out with open chords at first. Then you can move on to bar chords. Many students mistakenly think they should only practice one chord at the time. This is not the best approach. Pick a three chord progression and practice moving between those chords. Play without looking at your hands. You need to visualize the chord in your mind’s eye.
